Now that summer has arrived and with it the hot days, there’s no better time to make this refreshing and delicious recipe: chocolate-covered ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg

  • 80g of sugar

  • 250ml whipping cream

  • 10 g glucose, cream of tartar, Karo corn syrup or invert sugar

  • 50 ml of milk

  • 6 tablespoons of gofio

  • 50g of chocolate for dessert

Directions

  • Mix the egg with half the sugar until it is whitish and frothy. About 2 minutes with an electric stick.
  • Whip the cream with the rest of the sugar and glucose.
  • Mix the egg mixture with the whipped cream, add the milk, the gofio and the grated chocolate. Mix well.
  • Pour into a bowl and put in the freezer.
