The Canarian frangollo is a typical sweet of our islands, very traditional and very popular among the Canarian gastronomy.
Canary Islands Frangollo
1 cup of La Molineta frangollo
2 cups of milk
2 egg yolks
1 tablespoon of butter
- First of all, all the ingredients have to be added in a cauldron.
- Then it is brought to a boil over a low heat.
- Stir continuously, preferably with a wooden spoon, until it thickens and comes off the sides.
- Go to the presentation container and serve cold, either alone, accompanied by honey, milk…
